miró coffee on board with SWISS

by Marina Hagen

If you suddenly find yourself in South America on a Swiss short-haul flight, don’t be surprised.

From March 30, 2021, freshly brewed miró coffee will be served on short- and medium-haul flights from Zurich and Geneva.

We are delighted to have been selected by the Swiss airline as the exclusive coffee supplier for European flights as part of its SWISS Saveurs culinary concept.
The offer is available on all short-haul flights with a flight time of 50 minutes or more.

The coffee

Together with SWISS, we tested several coffees at the beginning of the year and worked on the perfect roast. The winner was the organic coffee from the Capucas cooperative in Santa Rosa, Honduras, which has been delighting many of our customers and guests for several years with its nutty, balanced aroma.
Freshly roasted and ground in our roastery in Zurich, it is finally pre-filled and sealed in the Coffee Cups.

How it works

The coffee is freshly brewed for each guest directly at their seat on SWISS flights.
This is made possible by the patented SUPR Lid cup, which filters the coffee grounds directly while drinking thanks to an integrated filter in the lid.

We are incredibly excited about the partnership with SWISS and all the more looking forward to enjoying the first miró coffee above the clouds soon.
